Job DescriptionThe UC Davis Health School of Medicine, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and the UC Davis Children’s Hospital are seeking an academic research-intensive Pediatric Pathologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Clinical (X) or Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) series.
All candidates must be US Citizens, permanent residents or hold an employment visa, and possess experience in a clinical or academic setting that includes clinical care, teaching, and research that would meet requirements for appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level in one of the University of California’s clinically intensive academic series [Clinical (X) or Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) series]. Clinical and administrative responsibilities will include medical, technical, and scientific directorship of division staff and laboratory personnel in collaboration with the Department Chair and other department section leaders, with the expectations of supervising molecular laboratory operations, participating in test reporting and new test development, while contributing to quality assurance and accreditation activities.
