3. Complete activating procedures (i.e., hyperventilation and photic stimulation) including eliminating and/or properly monitoring physiological and non-physiological artifacts; reviewing, evaluating, mapping, and classifying impressions of Ictal, Interictal, and Paroxysmal events from EEG/video data; annotating event(s) occurring during daily scanning; and editing and archiving EEG/video data, documentation, and mapping. Overview: The Electroencephalographic (EEG) Technologist II (High Density EEG) will perform routine, extended and high-density EEG studies to support neurological diagnosis and research within the inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and in the outpatient Sleep Electroencephalographic (EEG) Clinic.
