Drives implementation and upgrades of hosts, hypervisors, and virtual application software; ensures maximum availability, robust security, and strong integrity of all virtual resources; proactively monitors, alerts, and remediates issues; applies timely patches to development, test, pre-production, and production environments; serves as the principal troubleshooter for hosts, hypervisors, and virtual infrastructure; maintains comprehensive, current system documentation; and champions best practices in capacity planning, performance optimization, and disaster recovery. Manage ESXi 8.x/9.x hosts: oversee hypervisor installations and upgrades, networking and storage (vSAN, SAN, datastores, LUNs), host profiles, lockdown modes, and coordinate physical racking/hardware upgrades for new projects and tech refreshes.
