Engineering positions require self-management skills to coordinate and interface with shipyard testing, shipyard trades, material suppliers, other engineering organizations, Navy shipyards, Navy forces afloat, Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Strategic Systems Programs, and NAVSEA. Experience and proficiency with three or more of the following: Instrumentation equipment (O-scopes, Spectrum Analyzers, etc), LabVIEW, Dspace, MATLAB, Data Physics, Simulink, ANSYS, JMAG, FLUX2D/3D, COMSOL, PLC Programming, and other data acquisition, simulation, or control systems.
