Job Title: Occupational Therapist Assistant Profession: Occupational Therapy Assistant Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: M-F Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population License: Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant License Certifications: - Must-Have: - Occupational Therapy Assistant knowledge and skills necessary to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs - Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills in settings with seniors, their families, and interdisciplinary team members - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Commitment to unlocking the full potential of vulnerable seniors Description: The Occupational Therapist Assistant, under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, is responsible for assisting with performing tests and providing restorative and rehabilitative Occupational Therapy services to participants. The Occupational Therapist Assistant will be alert to input from team members, participants, and caregivers and will promptly update the Occupational Therapist of any changes in the participant's condition or functional status.
