Examples of equipment include control valves, level and pressure devices, PLC control systems, DCS control systems, variable frequency drives, motor controls, 480-volt power distribution • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing normal periodic testing and calibration of plant instrumentation • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, instrumentation loop drawings, logic drawings, schematics, vendor drawings, and electrical drawings • Strong working knowledge of safety, environmental, and emergency response requirements • Strong computer skills are an asset, SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook • Knowledge of NFPA-70e, ISA, NETA, and National Electrical Code. You should possess: • Associates degree in Instrumentation and/or Electrical or Journeyman license is desired • A minimum of 5 years experience as an instrumentation technician and/or electrician • Experience with supervising teams with direct reports • Hands-on experience in the I&E maintenance of machinery and process equipment is essential to the role.
