p>Specialized experience for this position is defined as: 1) Performing technical analysis of and leading projects involving the design, development, or modification of real-time electrical power control systems; AND 2) Experience designing, writing, testing, debugging, and documenting application or scripting code (e.g., C/C++, Python, C#, Java, or structured text, net and blazer) specifically for real-time operations, control systems, or industrial hardware integration AND 3) Developing technical software/system specifications, evaluating vendor proposals or system performance against requirements, and coordinating with other technical disciplines to resolve complex engineering and cybersecurity compliance challenges (e.g., NERC CIP or NIST guidelines). Related Curriculum -- Successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelors degree in an appropriate scientific field, e.g., engineering technology, physics, chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, or geology, may be accepted in lieu of a bachelors degree in engineering, provided the applicant has had at least 1 year of professional engineering experience acquired under professional engineering supervision and guidance.
