Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) Program including direct oversight of online and outage planning, preparations and implementation at Brunswick, Harris, Robinson, McGuire, Catawba and Oconee such that online and outage related NDE activities necessary for the operation, testing, maintenance, and modification of plant systems, structures, and components are completed in a safe, efficient, cost effective, and timely manner. Manages the staff of NDE and professional technical staff who perform various engineering activities, including but not limited to, ownership of assigned programs supporting troubleshooting and failure investigation activities; managing the long-range plans for NDE programs; monitoring program health; and supporting fleet/site initiatives.
