Additionally, the individual is responsible for providing assistance to the D272 CTE (Chief Test Engineer) in identifying retest requirements to support the various planned projects, identifying any necessary at-sea or post deep dive tests and supporting Re-Entry Control (REC) closeout for Ship Certification. Duties and Responsibilities Include: Evaluating trade work performed to determine necessary retesting for system / component recertification, issuance of HM&E test procedures, configuration control of HM&E test procedures, reviewing of HM&E and Non-Propulsion Electronic System (NPES) test procedures completed by trades.
