Construction sites may include exposure to hazardous materials and systems, including – high voltage equipment, steam and high-temperature water, open mechanical and rotating equipment, high air pressure, open trenches, areas of friable asbestos, and occasional work from ladders or heights; and processes that contain hazardous chemicals, biohazard, and radioactive products. Be a project manager and perform design work on campus chilled water, hot water, and steam systems, and review drawings and applications from outside sources to determine acceptability with OSU specifications.
