Machines and equipment used, but not limited to, include the complete range of radio frequency, high voltage, mechanical and pallet jacks, hand trucks, electronic diagnostic and repair equipment including Bally Test Equipment, IGT Test Equipment, other diagnostic and repair equipment, such as oscilloscopes (signal tracing with A-B comparisons and external trigger), EPROM checker-programmer, all machine testers (troubleshooting major boards to component level) AC and DC supplies (to locate over-current conditions), power supply testers, probes, soldering stations, heat guns, and a variety of hand tools, grinders, and other high speed component rotary appliances. The incumbent is also responsible for performing a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs of VLT machines, with infrequent assistance; possesses extensive knowledge of both mechanical and electronic aspects of VLT machine repair; provides training or assistance to lesser experienced technicians.
