Essential Functions of the Position: Use complex tools such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, vector-network analyzers, current probes, voltmeters, and precision inspection equipment to test and troubleshoot RF-based equipment in the frequency range of DC to 40GHz. Interpret data by applying a basic understanding of DC and RF: voltage, current, power, insertion loss, return loss, linearity, phase noise, noise figure, and spectral analysis.
