The Building Operations Director, ACRC has authority to prioritize and perform facility work, direct contractors and vendors, make immediate operational decisions necessary to protect people, animals, infrastructure, and continuity of operations, and escalate or initiate emergency response when conditions warrant. The Aquarium protects, enhances and restores natural resources through education and engagement, habitat restoration, animal rescue and sustainable business practices, with its conservation work guided by three overarching goals-to combat climate change, save wildlife and habitats, and stop plastic pollution.
