Working Conditions: - Work in a Freestanding Emergency Room, often with irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
Current, unrestricted clinical license(s) (or if the license is restricted, the organization has a process to ensure job functions do not violate the restrictions imposed by the State Board); -Board certification by American Board of Medical specialties or American Board of Osteopathic Specialties is required for MD or DO reviewer. • Identifies, critiques, and utilizes current criteria and resources such as national, state, and professional association guidelines and peer reviewed literature that support sound and objective decision making and rationales in reviews.
Work Environment while performing the duties of this job are working in an indoor healthcare environment, working with a moderate noise level, working with a potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and diseases with a requirement to wear appropriate PPE, (ie. Physical Demands required for this position include: the ability to speak clearly, hear clearly, close vision, the ability to stand for extended periods, the ability to reach and bend, periodic lifting and moving of items of no more than ten (10) pounds, and walking.
