The Training and Outreach Manager is responsible for developing and implementing training programs, in coordination with ATP staff, with the primary goal of assisting grantees of the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Victims of Crime (OVC) Enhanced Collaborative Model to Combat Human Trafficking (ECM), in particular the Brooklyn Human Trafficking Task Force (BKHTTF), to improve community prevention of, and response to, the crimes of human trafficking, both sex and labor. • Provide professional development training opportunities for ATP social worker and legal staff, including collaborating with ATP team members on multidisciplinary anti-trafficking trainings, including internal Safe Horizon Need to Know trainings and external trainings for medical providers, legal providers and others.
