p>Physical Requirements: The Flight Paramedic requires the ability to work in confined aircraft spaces for extended periods, including standing, sitting, and kneeling while providing patient care; frequently lifting, carrying, and positioning patients and equipment; and maintaining balance and coordination in a moving aircraft.
Environmental Requirements:
Work is performed in helicopters and other air medical transport settings as well as healthcare facilities and outdoor environments, with potential exposure to vibration, noise, weather extremes, infectious diseases, bodily fluids, and emotionally stressful situations.
