The Lead Medical Assistant is expected to learn and maintain operational competency in the workflows, equipment, supplies, documentation requirements, patient preparation, and escalation pathways applicable to YWS services, including: Primary care, preventive care, chronic disease management, and women’s health services. The LMA works collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, psychiatric providers, nurses, therapists, dietitians, podiatry, medical assistants, reception/scheduling, billing and administrative staff, case management, laboratories, pharmacies, specialists, vendors, and community partners.
