The role also demands strong technical knowledge of the air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing trades, including HVACR systems; Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB); pneumatic, electric, and electronic controls; and complex systems such as chilled water plants, ice bank systems, multiple chiller types, and cooling towers. Candidates must be able to work independently, operate a motor vehicle, safely perform duties around high voltage, high-pressure gases, high temperatures, and high noise levels, provide quality customer assistance, prepare reports and technical documentation, and establish positive working relationships with staff, service providers, and the public.
