Also provides routine multi-trade skills related to plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, metal fabrication, general repairs, and plant operations; Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications for construction or remodeling, and may recommend appropriate modifications or additions to plans; Install, diagnose problems, and repair electrical and HVAC systems, apparatus, electrical, and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications; Perform maintenance and repairs to electrical and HVAC equipment, including motors, pumps, control systems, chillers, and boilers; Prepare estimates of time, labor, and materials for projects and/or repairs; Operate and maintain tools and equipment of the trades. Journey-level electrical trade work: Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical and HVAC components related to existing and new equipment; Maintains current E01 license and stays consistent with updated electrical codes; Independently functions as a fully qualified electrician to perform skilled installation, maintenance, and repair work on low voltage electrical equipment, and electrical systems of 750 volts or less as well as low voltage electrical equipment.
