Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with significant exposure to construction, engineering, or project-based revenue recognition 2-3+ years of supervising/managing experience Strong working knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting and ASC 606 Experience preparing and analyzing WIP schedules Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modeling) Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Experience forecasting job costs and estimates-to-complete on active projects Ability to collaborate effectively with and provide guidance to a team of Project Accountants Ability to work in-person, full-time, at the Rockville, MD office. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction accounting, percentage-of-completion methodology, and project-based revenue recognition, and thrives in a collaborative, in-person environment working closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance leadership.
