Certification Training:To provide instructional assistance to candidates to meet one of the following qualifications: Passed theParaPro Assessmentthrough ETS (effective July 1, 2024), or Passed theParaprofessional Assessmentthrough Pearson (from September 23, 2013 to June 20, 2024), or Passed theParaPro Assessmentprior to September 23, 2013, or Completed the20-Hour Substitute Certificate Course. The Multilingual (ML) Paraprofessional Integrated Education and Training (IET) Program is a free workforce training initiative designed to prepare individuals, especially multilingual (ML) adult learners—for success as paraprofessionals in K–12 school settings.
