Support non-academic needs, through the student support network district system, of all students in order to remove barriers that interfere with academic success. Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs using the Communications Protocol.
Required Qualifications: Master's degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university in Rhetoric, Composition, Creative Writing, English, Literature, or Linguistics or an interdisciplinary master's degree or higher (from a regionally accredited college or university) that combines a focus in any of the listed fields OR Master's degree with 18 credits in Rhetoric, Composition, Creative Writing, English, Literature, or Linguistics. Adjunct faculty are expected to work collaboratively with senior department faculty to develop course content consistent with official course syllabi, to deliver course instruction to students and to be available for student assistance and advising outside of class.
Job Summary: The Job Training Center is currently seeking a FT Faculty Member to develop and teach non-credit courses in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population, as well as work effectively in a team-based environment, seeking continuous improvement and adherence to the community college philosophy.
Ideally, contributors will have: - Bachelor’s degree in any subject field;
- At least 1 year of professional or educational experience in any field;
- Strong written English (C1/C2);
- Stable internet connection. This isn't just traditional feedback - you'll be evaluating and improving how AI reasons, responds, and handles real-world tasks like online shopping experiences.
