Provide support in the preparation of technical reports, data analysis, and documentationTroubleshoot, maintain, calibrate, and repair equipment and laboratory instrumentsUnder the guidance of senior staff, execute technical projectsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative engineering/scientific solutionsFollow all safety guidelines and requirements in the lab or field, ensuring compliance with company policiesContribute to ongoing projects by gathering data, performing tests, and compiling resultsAssist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and materials needed for project executionUnder the guidance of senior staff, present technical findings, progress, and project results at conferences and to leadership and clients as neededWork closely with senior staff to gain exposure to project management, design processes, and technical problem-solvingQualifications and Skills: B.S. degree in Environmental/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related fieldExperience in lieu of a degree will be consideredStrong analytical, mechanical, and problem-solving skillsAptitude and interest in science, technical work, mechanical equipment, chemistry, and air qualityHands-on experience in a lab, technical setting, or engineering project (academic or professional)Experience in mechanical, laboratory, eld science, etc. Research activities will include decontamination and consequence management research; development and validation of measurement methods, source emission characterizations, and data collection; research in areas of atmospheric sciences, physical, chemical, biological, toxicological, and human and ecological exposure; development, evaluation, and application of air quality simulation modeling in the Fluid Modeling Facility/Meteorological Wind Tunnel; and other related research activities.
