In this position you will work with experienced technicians to learn: • Basic electrical theory • To read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals • Mechanically layout and mount hardware components • Wire complete panel in accordance with PFT panel procedures, UL508A specifications, and other best practices as given by the panel shop supervisor • The use of hand tools, i.e. jigsaw, drills, wrenches, screwdrivers • The use of electrical test equipment, i.e. Multi meter • Torque check and marking in accordance with PFT procedures • Test Custom Industrial Control Panels and OEM Products • Point to Point wire tests in accordance with PFT testing procedures. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for up to 8 Hours Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to work on elevated platforms Ability to climb ladders This position may require standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and/or reaching You may be exposed to dust, loud noises, and hot and cold conditions Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills may be required for hand tools, power tools, and other machinery.
