Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: **Required and Preferred Experience:** - Must have Level 1 Trauma experience - Needs to be a well-rounded ICU nurse - Must have 2 years (or more) experience in ICU - Level I trauma center and teaching hospital experience preferred **Certifications:** - BLS & ACLS required - NIHSS preferred but not required **Skills and Qualifications:** - Candidate must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam with a passing score of 80% within 2 attempts - Competent in Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes (SIMs Lab) - Ability to maintain a sterile field - Must be able to read a tele strip - Experience with critical drips and all types of respiratory support (vents, CPAP, BIPAP, Hi-flow) - Expected to be on the unit by 7AM/7PM to hear shift huddle - Understanding of charting system: Cerner **Other Requirements:** - ICU Float Pool experience: required to float amongst all ICU areas and any MedSurg/Tele units - Must understand floating policy and cannot refuse assignments - Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks - Holidays required based on unit needs - Shift Schedule: 12-hour nights, 7AM-7:30PM or 7PM-7:30PM - Orientation: 2 shifts, a third shift only as needed License to Submit: Yes, willing to wait.
