Provides instruction aligned with students' IEP goals and objectives while implementing developmentally appropriate preschool instructional activities that facilitate learning experiences in language, literacy, mathematics, art, music, play, motor development, self-help skills, social interaction, and other areas of early childhood development. Assists with the transition of students from preschool to elementary programs by providing updated information regarding students' current levels of functioning, participating in transition planning activities, visiting receiving programs when appropriate, and collaborating with families and school staff.
