The successful candidate will be expected to: Teach undergraduate mining engineering courses across the curriculum, with possible areas including but not limited to introduction to mining, mine design, mine planning, surface and underground mining methods, mine ventilation, mine safety, mine systems, geospatial and surveying applications, mine operations, equipment, engineering economics, capstone design, and technical electives. The successful candidate will teach core and elective undergraduate courses, contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement, support ABET assessment and documentation, advise and mentor undergraduate students, and help strengthen the student experience through applied projects, field-oriented learning, industry case studies, and professional preparation.
