The Environmental Specialist, Water & Waste (Pipeline Operations) must have a working knowledge of federal (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)), Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ), and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations for solid waste, hazardous waste, and universal waste, as well as Department of Transportation regulations for hazardous materials. This role includes monitoring water quality and agency reporting, SPCC and SWPPP implementation and maintenance, managing wastewater discharge, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, Louisiana, and Texas regulations, and training site personnel on water and waste management practices.
