Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Assure compliance with all Federal, State and Local environmental regulations involving air (title V permit), water, and Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA).</li><li>Interaction with all above listed agencies to assure on going compliance as well as compliance of any process changes or the addition of new processes to the facility.</li><li>Keep current on all new Environmental regulations which impact the facility</li><li>Interact with the State and EPA to maintain positive relations and ensure all regulatory reports are completed correctly and submitted on time</li><li>Keep up with all required databases and log sheets and ensure they are all completed correctly and filed using a track able</li><li>Assurance that all fees, fines and permitting are kept</li><li>Update Environmental procedures in line with changing permits and regulations</li><li>Keep up to date with new regulations and regulatory</li><li>Track all emissions for permitting requirements to assure compliance with regulatory requirements.</li><li>Manage all aspects of the landfill as well as all monitoring  </li><li>Manage all Solid Waste Management</li><li>Keep the Plant Manager updated on all Environmental activities.</li><li>Develop & train ALL employees and Supervisors on Environmental</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<div>Education, Experience, Skills:</div><ul><li>Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences or Environmental Management</li><li>At least 10 years experience in environmental management with a working knowledge of manufacturing processes and how they affect the environment.</li><li>Previous experience and working knowledge of regulations under:<ul><li>Clean Air Act- National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), and New Source Performance Standards (NSPS)</li><li>Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)- Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facilities (TSDF) Part B permit, and Large Quantity generator requirements; and, Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know (EPCRA)</li><li>Clean Water Act- National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)</li></ul></li><li>Previous experience managing facility operations and oversight of environmental compliance programs</li><li>Heavy industrial experience a plus</li></ul><div>Physical Requirements:</div><ul><li>Able to perform continuous walking, standing, and lifting.</li></ul><div>Equipment Used:</div><ul><li>PC with various software, office equipment.</li><li>Personal protective equipment as required.</li><li>This is a full time position, and working within the plant is required.</li></ul>

What could you add to this remarkable mix?</p><p>As an Environmental & Energy Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance of the environmental and energy program through monitoring, measuring, analyzing, reporting and management of permits. You will partner with internal and external sustainability experts to identify improvement opportunities. To attain this sustainability strategy, you will champion measures to reduce waste and minimize environmental impact while increasing efficiency. You will identify, develop, justify and oversee improvement projects to ensure environmental compliance and align with company goals.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Maintain ISO 14001 certification and continuously improve the environmental management system for the factory</li><li>Complete timely permit renewals or changes for air, water, wastewater, stormwater, and any other environmental regulatory requirements</li><li>Complete timely external compliance reporting for air, water, wastewater, stormwater, and any other environmental regulatory requirements</li><li>Complete timely internal compliance reporting for Energy, Environmental and Sustainability requirements</li><li>Review and process monthly invoices for energy, water and waste</li><li>Administer waste disposal contracts (waste slurry, sludge, solid waste, hazardous waste, recyclables, etc.) and maintain relationships with service providers</li><li>Coordinate and align factory team with divisional Environmental and Energy team on strategic goals, priorities and measures</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline.</li><li>1+ years of experience leading environmental and energy programs in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment</li></ul><p>The approximate pay range for this position is $62,000 - $82,000.
