This position leads the overall coordination and implementation of a comprehensive air pollutant emissions control program at NASA Goddard and Wallops to ensure all existing and proposed emissions sources are controlled, operated, and permitted in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, terms and conditions of all environmental permit requirements and other authorizing documents, Executive Orders, Agency or Center Policy Directives, Agency or Center Procedural Requirements, and Center Work Instructions. This includes meeting the requirements of air emissions reporting, permitting (including permit applicability assessments, exemptions, new source review and prevention of significant deterioration applications, and construction/operation of minor and major sources), greenhouse gases (GHG), ozone-depleting and/or global-warming substances (ODGWS), air toxics including asbestos reporting, and risk management plans.
