Overview:
Kimley-Horn is looking for Environmental Science graduates with 2+ years of experience to join our Vero Beach, Florida (FL) office! This is not a remote position. 

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.</li><li>Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.</li><li>The opportunity to gain knowledge in one or more of the following: natural resource regulations, water quality regulatory programs, wetlands identification including knowledge of botany and soil science and experience in ecology, wildlife biology, water resources, geographic information systems and environmental science.</li><li>Some travel may be required (approximately 10%).</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>2+ years relevant experience, including state and federal wetland and species permitting requirements</li><li>Bachelors or Masters Degree in relevant majors including Biology, Environmental Science, or related majors</li><li>Ecological field work experience, including wetland delineation and protected species survey </li><li>Possess strong technical writing skills and have knowledge writing detailed technical reports </li><li>Working knowledge and strong interest in ArcGIS</li><li>Desire to work in both an office environment and in the field</li><li>Willingness and flexibility to travel for projects as needed</li><li>Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines</li><li>Detail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment</li><li>Strong technical writing and organizational skills</li><li>The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment as well as the ability to manage and prioritize several assignments concurrently and meet deadlines</li></ul>
