7+ years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting • Bachelors degree in occupational health, Safety, Environmental Sciences, or related field • Masters degree preferred • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to safety, health, and environmental compliance • Proven ability to lead and drive cultural change towards safety excellence and environmental stewardship • Strong analytical skills with experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels • Proficiency in utilizing software tools for data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives • Willingness to travel to various plant locations as needed • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred. The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, serve as a primary liaison with regulatory agencies, and play a pivotal role in strategic initiatives within the Operations leadership team.
