A minimum of 3 years of network operations experience in a large scale enterprise or service provider environment Experience evaluating and managing outages to business critical infrastructure Ability to maintain composure and customer-service focus in stressful and ambiguous situations Self-starter, self-motivated, self-directed, self-sufficient Working knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP and various IGP protocols Proficiency in macOS, Linux, and/or other variations of UNIX operating systems Experience working in large scale network environments with ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processesBachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience Cisco CCNA, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIP, or equivalent experience Flexibility to work early morning or late night shift patterns required Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and/or Nokia carrier-grade routers and their respective network operating systems is preferred Understanding of peering and/or transit networks is a bonus Experience with configuration management and automation technologies such as Ansible, Python, Go, etc is advantageous. In this fast paced role, you will provide front line support for Apple's MPLS backbone network; its extensive DC, Edge, and Internet connectivity; and its underlying metro and long-haul optical transport networks to address a wide variety of business challenges.
