Work is performed outdoors year-round and involves tasks such as blacktop, concrete work, storm line installation, and snow/ice removal.Work Hours: This position will be expected to work a schedule established by the Department Head. The Program: YWCA Resolve is a Family Domestic Violence Program offering 24/7 shelter, a help hotline, pet shelter, and emergency intervention for victims of domestic violence. The Position: Domestic Violence Advocate (Residential & Crisis Support): </div><div>YWCA Charleston needs a compassionate and dependable Domestic Violence Advocate to support survivors in a residential shelter environment. This role provides frontline crisis response and day-to-day support that helps create a safe, calm, and empowering space for residents and their families.</div><div>The Advocate will respond to crisis calls, assist survivors with safety planning, and model healthy communication and conflict resolution within the shelter community.
