Overview: This position is responsible for the effective daily coordination and monitoring of Patient Transportation & Environmental Services / Linen (EVS/LINEN) workflows in a hospital environment through timely and accurate answering of service request telephone calls, timely and accurate dispatching of Transport & EVS/LINEN requests, the efficient assignment of personnel utilizing company applications and all associated records keeping and reporting as directed. This position possesses the supervisory authority limited to directing the work and break cycles and daily activities of Patient Transporters, Housekeepers, Lift Team Technicians, Floor Care Technicians, Waste Stream Technicians, Elevator Operators, Equipment Technicians (Bed Man), Specimen Couriers, and other team members of the Transport and EVS/LINEN Departments.
