Responsibilities:
The Evening Shift Operations Supervisor is a key leader in ensuring smooth, efficient, and compassionate evening operations across our behavioral health programs. This role is responsible for evening staffing, including scheduling, training, and coordination of resources to ensure consistent, high-quality care for our patients. As a central partner to both the clinical and operations teams, the Operations Supervisor helps create a safe, responsive, and healing environment—one that allows staff to thrive and patients to feel supported. This role is grounded in Newport Healthcare’s core values—Patient First, Love, Excellence Through Integrity, Compassion, and Connection—and brings them to life through purposeful coordination, thoughtful leadership, and a deep commitment to service. Key Performance Responsibilities:<ul><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Support the Operations Manager with recruitment and hiring efforts to identify strong evening shift candidates who align with our mission and values. </li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Ensure a strong onboarding and development experience for overnight direct care staff, with initial training and support in the long-term career growth process. </li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Partner with HR in managing interpersonal and/or performance issues that arise. </li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Maintain proactive staffing plans and schedules that ensure proper supervision across all assigned programs during overnight shift that uphold patient safety and meet or exceed required staffing ratios.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Process payroll and time off requests, as well as performance evaluations as required, for direct reports.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Intervene and provide support during crisis situations.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Assist on the floor to fill in for staffing gaps as they arise.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Point of contact for ongoing or crisis situations for parents as well as providing updates to clinical and operational teams.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Maintain a high level of communication with Operation Managers to ensure all proper protocols for patient safety are in place during the evening shift. </li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Schedule regular staff meetings and training for direct care staff.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Conduct documentation and training audits, ensuring timely chart note completion, accurate recordkeeping, and full compliance with required training (e.g., Relias).</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Attend RCAs and other meetings as required.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 0in 0.25in">Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
  Education, Experience, License Requirements:<ul><li style="margin-left:0.25in">High school diploma or GED required.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Bachelor’s or associate degree in human services, counseling, psychology, or social work preferred.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">State approved credential OR Minimum one (1) year of experience working with adolescents/young adults in a mental health setting required.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Minimum of one year of experience in a lead, supervisory, or management role preferred.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">The minimum age is 21 years old as a requirement for employment. </li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Health Screening, TB Clearance, valid CPR and Criminal Record Clearance are required prior to employment. </li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Must complete CPI and CPR Training within first 30 days.</li></ul>Compensation for this role ranges from $26.80- 31 per hour depending on education and experience.  We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation.
