Associate degree in a medical laboratory technology, medical laboratory science or clinical laboratory science with four (4) years of laboratory training or experience, or both in nonwaived testing, in the designated specialty/sub-specialty area OR Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological science (transcripts will be reviewed to determine eligibility) with two (2) years of laboratory training or experience, or both in nonwaived testing, in the designated specialty/sub-specialty area. For certain specialty disciplines ONLY (Toxicology, HLA, HCTT, etc.) where no certification is available from a certifying agency, a bachelor's degree with four (4) years of experience in that discipline is required.
