We succeed through long-standing partnerships with employees and customers—and we’re adding a hands-on technician to keep our color production running at its best.</p><h3>Why you’ll love working here</h3><ul><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision</li><li>Wellness program with premium discounts</li><li>Up to 7% employer 401(k) contribution</li><li>Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays</li><li>$1000 Sign-on Bonus (3 installments)</li><li>Pay increases in your first year + annual merit</li><li>Employee Recognition points you can redeem for great gear</li></ul><h3>Your impact (key responsibilities)</h3><ul><li>Run compounding/extrusion equipment safely and efficiently.</li><li>Hold lines to target speeds and throughput; sustain productivity.</li><li>Execute quality checks and complete accurate production records.</li><li>Troubleshoot process issues and support quick corrective actions.</li><li>Maintain lean/5S housekeeping standards.</li><li>Follow safety policies; perform other related tasks as assigned.</li></ul><h3>What you bring</h3><ul><li>Manufacturing experience preferred; strong teamwork and self-direction.</li><li>Operational decision-making to protect rate and quality.</li><li>Ability to read/write clearly; current skill to safely operate a forklift.</li></ul><h3>Physical capabilities</h3><ul><li>Lift and carry up to 55 lbs repeatedly.</li><li>Good manual/mechanical dexterity; remove and reassemble tooling using hand tools.</li><li>Stand for extended periods; squat, bend, twist, and turn as needed.</li><li>Climb stairs multiple times each shift.</li><li>Wear all required safety equipment.</li></ul><h3>Schedule and attendance</h3><ul><li>2nd Shift: 2:45 pm – 11:00 pm.</li><li>Training: 1st shift (6:45 am – 3:00 pm).</li><li>Arrive 15 minutes before the production phase of your shift.</li><li>Full-time, on-site role where dependable, on-time attendance is critical in a team-based batch environment.</li><li>Mandatory overtime may be required, including evening, night, or weekend rotations, to safely complete batches.</li></ul><h3>Technical strengths we value</h3><ul><li>Lean manufacturing, compounding, and blending</li><li>Maintenance/repair fundamentals; heavy material handling</li><li>Machine safety inspections; production setups</li><li>Manual machining and plastic extrusion</li><li>Meeting all physical requirements</li></ul><h3>Compliance notices</h3><p>Teknor Apex is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any protected status under state or federal laws.
