The Sonographer functions as a healthcare technician who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Therefore, we require that patient-facing employees receive all required vaccinations, including, but not limited to, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), TD/TDAP, and all employees to receive COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
