GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK: The job of the Special Education Paraeducator assists the teacher in delivery of educational and behavioral interventions to individual or small groups of students under the supervision of a certificated teacher; which may include modeling the necessary skills to perform assignments; following educational and specific behavioral plans; modeling appropriate behaviors and interactions with students and staff; and assisting students by providing for special health care needs.
