POSITION SUMMARY: The Medical Assistant III is part of the Pain Management Department and shall perform duties such as: tray set-ups for patient treatment, vital signs, assist doctor with patient treatments/procedure, break down exam rooms and re-set for next patients, clean and sterilize, help with maintenance of medical equipment, and assist with explanation of treatment option and treatment coordinating with patient. The Medical Assistant III will also help with training of new hires, keep track of daily schedule and help direct patient traffic to help prevent the medical team from falling behind, track lab cases, copy and keep records of invoices, restock operatory rooms, patient chart up-keep, and help with patient referrals.
