Confers and consults with the Deputy Public Works Director of Operations on issues related to the design and construction of public works systems (sanitary sewer, storm sewer, roadways, water systems, levees, dams, stormwater reservoirs, public facilities, etc.), the interpretation and enforcement of construction contracts and specifications, and the design and operation of the traffic system. Oversees the maintenance of as-built records related to water infrastructure, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, storm water detention, streets, sidewalks, and traffic control; coordinates public works and engineering activities with other City Departments and with outside agencies.
