Incumbents in this classification are responsible for performing supervisory and professional work in the assistance of development and operations of youth and adult recreation programs for the community, including but not limited to, after school programs, summer camps, toddler, teen, adult and senior programs, special interest programming, special event planning and programming for individuals with special needs. For all positions: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with elected officials, coworkers, the press the general public and members of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds regardless of race, religion, age, sex, disability, political affiliation, gender identity or sexual orientation.
