Under general supervision the Arts, Culture, and Events Manager serves as the strategic leader responsible for planning, developing, and activating a world-class cultural district, investing in the arts, supporting high level and citywide special events anchored by major destinations such as the National Medal of Honor Museum, AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys), Globe Life Field (home of the Texas Rangers), Six Flags Over Texas, Arlington Museum of Art, and E-Stadium Arlington. Communicate with department director, assistant director, employees, volunteers, other departments, program participants, companies, community organizations, vendors, the public, the media, and other individuals as needed to coordinate work activities, review status of work, exchange information, resolve problems, or give/receive advice/direction.
