Skilled in operating a variety of light and heavy equipment, including pick-up trucks, vac truck, lift truck, dump trucks, backhoes, excavators, manual and power tools, welding equipment, and other tools and equipment appropriate to given duty responsibility; communicating with and gaining the cooperation of co-workers, vendors, consultants, contractors, and the general public for the effective coordination of work and for resolving problems; and reviewing project plans. It is not anticipated that the Maintenance Technician II will be required to attend meetings during other than normal work hours; however, the employee may be called back to work before or after regularly scheduled work hours or on scheduled days off and will be required to participate in the weekend standby rotation.
