Primary Responsibilities: Supports vendor price quote solicitation and preparation of statements of work for office supply orders and support contracts; Provides logistical and general support by performing any and all tasks associated with receiving, unpacking, storing, assembling and issuing supplies, materials and equipment; Inspects received/delivered goods, maintains inventory/logistics records, and allocates storage space, and/or delivers those goods and materials to the Receiving Office; Maintains storage areas in a neat and clean condition; Travels to DFP facilities to provide guidance and logistical support to all locations; Monitors depletion rate of supplies, materials and equipment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Applications/Programs; Good customer service skills; Ability to follow oral and written instructions; Ability to perform work with minimal supervision; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships; Knowledge of Department of State Regulations/Policies; This position requires strong organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; Working knowledge in military, law enforcement, and/or Government security operations, preferred; Knowledge of supply and logistics record keeping/management (supply/logistics forms, supplies, materials inventory, and the status report preparation.
