ResponsibilitiesDesign, document and implement Solutions assemblies, electrical control systems, control panels, and general automation projectsTravel to job sites for project evaluation, installations and service callsCreates bills of material and provides assistance with the cross referencing of bills of materials when neededAssists customers and outside sales staff with quoting and labor estimates for projectsDevelops strong relationships with integrator partners Conduct meetings to ensure desired progress with projects and provide a means to communicate their issues to Power/mation managementQualificationsTechnical degree in Industrial Engineering, Controls, or Robotics preferred; equivalent experience can be substituted for the degree requirement Previous consulting experience, sales experience or customer service experience desirableMust be able to manage multiple aspects of small to mid-sized projects from conception to implementationEffective writing skills to establish engineering processes and proceduresAbility to manage time and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with frequently changing prioritiesAbility to travel as needed (approximately 1x a quarter) 2+ years of experience with motion control, programmable logic controllers and motor control design, and programming.
