About the role
We’re hiring a sharp proactive Executive Assistant to the CEO for our client.
Complex Logistics & Event Planning: Expert-level ability to orchestrate multi-leg, multi-time-zone international travel (commercial and private aviation) and execute flawless, high-stakes events such as global Board of Directors meetings and off-sites. Diplomacy & Executive Presence: Interacts with tact, polish, and confidence when liaising with Board members, the CEO, outside counsel, and internal leadership, effectively representing the offices of the Chief Legal Officer and Chief of Staff.
Under the auspices of NEJM Group, the MMS extends our mission globally by advancing medical knowledge from research to patient care through the New England Journal of Medicine, NEJM Evidence, NEJM AI, NEJM Catalyst, NEJM Clinician, and through our accredited and comprehensive continuing medical education programs. A leadership voice in health care, the MMS contributes physician and patient perspectives to influence health-related legislation at the state and federal levels, works in support of public health, provides expert advice on physician practice management, and addresses issues of physician well-being.
This role is responsible for protecting and sequencing the CFO''s time, improving meeting readiness and follow-through, coordinating Board, investor, and financing logistics, and ensuring CFO-related Finance leadership and planning moments are well prepared from a logistics and information-flow standpoint. Capture and track action items, owners, deadlines, open questions, and follow-ups from CFO-related meetings, Board prep sessions, investor touchpoints, Finance leadership forums, and selected cross-functional meetings.
