<h3>Food Expeditor</h3>The Food Expeditor plays a critical role in maintaining seamless communication and workflow between the kitchen and front-of-house team. This position requires a high-energy, level-headed individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can respond effectively under pressure while maintaining a steady, consistent pace. The goal is to ensure timely, accurate service that enhances the overall guest experience and upholds the restaurant’s quality and reputation.<h4> </h4><h4>Key Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Prior restaurant experience preferred</li><li>Strong organizational and coordination abilities</li><li>High energy with the ability to stay calm and focused under stress</li><li>Willingness to learn and adapt to changing service demands</li><li>Ability to remain in constant motion for extended periods</li></ul><h4>Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Ensure efficient flow of orders from servers to the kitchen</li><li>Monitor ticket times and prioritize orders appropriately</li><li>Assist with the final preparation and plating of dishes</li><li>Inspect completed dishes for accuracy, presentation, and proper temperature before service</li><li>Deliver food promptly to maintain smooth and timely service</li><li>Uphold quality control and sanitation standards; assist with cleaning as needed</li><li>Communicate important information between kitchen and wait staff (e.g., special requests, modifications, delays)</li><li>Professionally handle guest concerns to protect and enhance the restaurant’s reputation</li><li>Support additional tasks as directed by management</li></ul>This role requires someone who is dependable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high standards while contributing positively to the team dynamic.
