Purchasing Buyer

 We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Buyer to join our team and support the procurement process for custom automation and capital equipment projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside engineering, operations, and leadership teams while gaining exposure to a variety of industries, suppliers, and technologies. 

Responsibilities

<ul><li>Manage purchasing activities for custom machinery and projects
	</li><li>Procure fabricated parts, electrical components, commercial parts, and specialized equipment
	</li><li>Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and vendors to ensure projects stay on schedule
	</li><li>Manage purchase orders, BOM updates, and supplier communications
	</li><li>Identify and resolve supply chain delays or shortages
	</li><li>Build strong vendor relationships and negotiate pricing when applicable
	</li><li>Support continuous improvement and process efficiency initiatives
</li></ul>

Qualifications

<ul><li>3-7 years of purchasing experience within manufacturing environments 
	</li><li>Experience sourcing fabricated, mechanical, and electrical components
	</li><li>Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
	</li><li>ERP/MRP system experience preferred
	</li><li>Knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise and SolidWorks PDM is a plus
	</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
</li></ul>
Pay rate:  Up to $28.00 per hour depending on experience
